Advertised Job Summary: Assist Department Chair in creating initial drafts of documents based on verbal or email instructions, compiling departmental data into charts, reports, and presentations, arranging meetings (monthly faculty meetings and IAB meeting), conducting preliminary review of all documents before presenting for Chair signature, and tracking due dates for department processes (T&P submissions, annual reviews, award nominations, etc.). Assist Undergraduate Program and Faculty Development Committee Chairs in various administrative processes as requested. Manage the department office, including supervising other staff persons who respond to faculty requests, prepare documents (TA, TRV, Requisitions and Payment Requests), and maintain office supplies.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management, administrative services or related field; or equivalency.
