GlobalFoundations (GF) seeks an energetic, detail-oriented candidate to support admissions, marketing, and international student services. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, the Admissions Officer is responsible for helping ensure the delivery of high quality customer service to ILSC’s partners, offshore sales teams, and prospective and enrolled students in the GlobalFoundations Programs. The Admissions Officer will have a positive, can-do attitude, be attentive to detail, and possess strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Reviewing applications, transcripts, and other documents required for international student admissions  
  • Manage, monitor and enter data of qualified applicants into the university's database system  
  • Monitor application process and provide updates to prospective students and sales team
  • Coordinate I-20 process with partner university admissions staff 
  • Respond to e-mail and phone inquiries 
  • Process requests for information packets and prepare mailings to prospective students 
  • Monitor student pipeline and run reports  
  • Develop key relationships with partner University in the International Student and Scholar Services and Offices of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions
  • Support the Student Success Manager in pre-arrival processes
  • Assist in the implementation of incoming and ongoing Orientation Programs 
  • Promote good relations with staff, recruiters, institutions, and students 
  • Assist in marketing and recruitment activities

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Knowledge of international credentials within a higher education setting 
  • Excellent customer service, organizational skills and strong attention to detail 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity towards students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds 
  • Ability to take initiative, perform multiple assignments, and complete projects in a timely manner 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs and databases 
  • Ability to formulate, implement, and evaluate strategies and policies
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate and accomplish work goals  
  • Ability to demonstrate sound business acumen and meet performance targets 
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the USA 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Previous experience with Hobson’s Radius, Banner Colleague, and Peoplesoft software and/or previous admissions experience preferred 
  • Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Brazilian, or Portuguese preferred 
  • Master’s degree in higher education, international education or related field
