Job Duties: This position will ensure that College and Department personnel policies and practices comply with the Faculty Manual and College Code and will notify College administrator of any changes or discrepancies. The College of Engineering and Technology EHRA personnel coordinators (CPCs) serve as initial points of contact for EHRA personnel issues and review all EHRA personnel actions. This involves working closely on a daily basis with department chairs, program directors, and administrative personnel in the college's 4 departments and 2 centers. In order to serve effectively as a point-of-contact, coordinators will interpret and apply university personnel policies and be knowledgeable on state and federal regulations. The CPCs implement the yearly schedules of faculty personnel actions, including promotion, reappointment and conferral of tenure, annual evaluations and progress toward tenure letters. They oversee the preparation and review of EHRA hiring packets, contract letters and EPAFs, checking for accuracy and completeness. They are responsible for initiating and completing all personnel actions for the dean's office which includes hiring new department chairs, associate dean appointments and all personnel within the office of the dean. They will identify, recognize and resolve problems related to all types of EHRA personnel actions.
