Annual Giving Program Associate

Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Annual Giving Program Associate is responsible for multiple, complex, detailed and confidential fund raising communications, strategies, tasks, reports and projects in support of advancement efforts for Annual Giving for NC State University. This position serves as an integral member of the fund raising team. He or she will develop communications, manage stewardship and recognition, respond to requests and complaints, recommend and implement strategies for retaining donors based upon analytics, manage the solicitation and stewardship calendar, supervise student workers and provide administrative support as needed.
Essential Job Duties: The Program Associate reports to the Executive Director of Annual Giving and works closely with staff leading communications, constituency programs, and data & reporting. This position serves as an integral member of the fund raising team including managing the day to day solicitation and stewardship calendar, working closely with Advancement Services on all reporting functions, supervises student workers, responds to alumni and donor requests, and manages all levels of stewardship and recognition. This position is key for data reporting and analysis, allowing the Office of Annual Giving to target the most appropriate donors, provide excellent and relevant information to targeted audiences, and accurate recognition of donor contributions, resulting in superior donor relations for NC State University.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: * One or more years of office/program management experience, customer relations, fund raising, or related office and professional experience
