Program Assistant, part-time hourly
Part-time hourly program assistant needed to help provide assistance to and information regarding BEdA (Basic Education for adults) and ELA (English Language Acquisition) programs and activities in the evenings Monday - Thursday (until 9:00 p.m.) for a total of 10 hours/week.
Proctor various tests for students and community members following testing procedures
Serve as contact with potential and current program participants
Provide assistance to and information regarding BEdA (basic education for adults) and ELA (English language acquisition) programs and activities
Assist with new student orientations
Ability to use basic computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite
High school graduation or equivalent
Two years of full-time clerical experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Hourly employees who qualify (work 350 hours in 12 consecutive months) are represented by the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE). All represented employees must become members or pay the non-member representation fee within 30 calendar days of meeting eligibility requirement.
