Job Description Summary

Visual Communications & Design (Interactive Media)



Job Responsibilities

Teaches a full range of courses in Visual Communication & Design that focuses on interactive media.



Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in design or related field with 2 years industry and/or teaching experience. Candidate must be a proficient communicator & presenter and must be proficient in design industry standard software.

Willingness to learn and/or have experience in the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid and/or distance learning classes, and /or as a supplement

Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)



Preferred Qualifications

Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience with WordPress including site management and custom theme development. In-depth knowledge of php backend development including connection to MySQL database; javascript



Work Schedule

To be determined based on business unit need. Classes may be offered during the day, evening and/or weekend. Please indicate your availability when applying for this position.
