Job description

Duties: We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate for a full-time Research Specialist D position. The research project focuses on the study of how cancer therapies can utilize immune signaling pathways and how this can be exploited to improve both conventional and immunotherapies. For this position, we seek a candidate with proven success and expertise in virology or related disciplines. Extensive and deep technical knowledge is a strongly preferred, as well as good general skills in molecular and cellular biology. The project will involve design, acquisition, trouble-shooting, and analysis of high-dimensional data from mouse and human samples. Experience with next-generation sequencing and cytometry-based platforms is preferred. Managerial and lab duties will also be expected.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Master's degree or more and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PhD degree and 4+ years of post-doctoral experience is preferred. Strong skills in cell and molecular biology is required. Genomics and single-cell analysis expertise is preferred. Experience in virology and anti-viral signaling is strongly preferred.
