Job description

Duties: Support the daily operations and services of Student Disabilities Services (SDS) to assure legally mandated accommodations and auxiliary services. Provide diversified administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director, SDS to ensure smooth office operations and the implementation of office policies and procedures. Assist the Assistant Director, SDS with the administrative duties necessary for the coordination of services related to the proctoring of accommodated exams, arranging notetakers, and other services. Utilize database technology to organize and track accommodated exams and other services. Communicate with faculty and staff across the University's twelve schools to schedule and implement accommodated exams and other services. Assist in the recruitment and training of student workers including resource assistants, note-takers, and proctors.

Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred with three to five years of experience, preferably in an academic setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of basic computer software, including Windows Suite. Experience with databases. Ability to interact in a professional manner with diverse constituencies; excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
