Duties: The Fels Institute of Government is committed to advancing the quality of public leadership. For more than 75 years, Fels has accomplished its mission by offering focused, practical educational programs that prepare students for public and nonprofit sector work and bridging the worlds of practice and possibility through conferences, lectures and discussions about public issues and solutions. Based at Fels, ImpactED accelerates social change by building data-informed organizations. Our work bridges the worlds of research and practice through two key components: --Evaluation: We conduct rigorous and responsive evaluation studies. Our evaluations provide a trusted validation of organizations' work and provide insights to increase organizational effectiveness. --Development: We offer targeted development for organizational leaders through our evaluation capacity-building programs. Our unique approach increases organizations' effectiveness by equipping them with the information, skills, and tools they need to inform improvement and share their story with the broader community.

The Program Coordinator for Fels ImpactED is responsible for program design, coordination, and monitoring for ImpactED's evaluation and development components. This position works closely with the Director of ImpactED, the Director of Evaluation, current students, and staff of the Fels Institute of Government to carry out position responsibilities. This position will be responsible for overseeing program design and execution of ImpactED's training programs and coordinating key program evaluation activities. This position will also provide support for Fels Executive Education programs; in particular, the Board Governance Program.

Support and planning work includes coordinating with Fels staff, students, outside partners and vendors and the Business Office in planning the content of programs and logistics of activities. Strong communication skills and organizational ability are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications: High School degree and 5 to 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of professional experience in relevant positions is strongly preferred, as well as strong alignment to ImpactED's core values of empathy, excellence and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills and organizational ability are essential to success in this position. Qualified candidates will be required to submit a writing sample. Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in program/curricular design, education, non-profits, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a willingness to work with new software and technology is preferred. Qualified candidates must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
