Human Resources Coordinator - Staffing

Under the general supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition, this position assists with the administration of a variety of human resources activities to support the talent acquisition team to include recruiting, hiring and on-boarding process with a focus on the faculty area.

Essential Functions
This is a term position anticipated to end in June, 2019.

  • Assists with the recruiting and hiring of all summer faculty positions.
  • Provides technical support for all programs and communicates with the directors and others as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding activities; collecting, coordinating, and processing appropriate employment documentation.
  • Coordinates paperwork for faculty appointments.
  • Reviews faculty contracts for completeness and accuracy.
  • Processes human resources and payroll forms, ensuring timely processing in accordance with payroll deadlines.
  • Oversees the faculty data to ensure that adjustments for leaves, associate status, etc. are accurately recorded.
  • Provides clerical and operational support to Director of Talent Acquisition.
General Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned.


  • Associate's degree preferably in Human Resources, business, office management, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • High level of skill in handling sensitive and confidential situations/information with the demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal, follow-up, as well as strong attention to detail required
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize databases, MS Word and Excel at an Expert level required
  • Have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to effectively learn and utilize new technologies
  • Minimum of 4 years of general office experience, including customer service/support. Human Resources experience a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged sitting and occasional standing. Extensive keyboarding
