Schedule Information:  15 contact hours per week and a minimum of 10 office hours per week.

Weeks per fiscal year:  Faculty are covered under a 9-month contract period (August thru May)

Position Description and Duties: The Harper College History Department invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of either Assistant Professor or Instructor. The department is deeply committed to enriching our diverse communities and inspiring the transformation of individual lives, the workforce and society, and we welcome applications from all individuals whose backgrounds and expertise enable them to contribute to our department's and college's goals. 

The successful candidate will be teaching U.S. history survey courses. Educational Requirements: Master's degree in a history discipline.

Experience Requirements: College level teaching for two full semesters.
