Duties: The Program Manager for the High School Programs supports LPS's mission to deliver innovative education programs that meet the highest standards of excellence. S/He is responsible for ensuring reliable program operations, student success and satisfaction; s/he meets the development goals for the programs, including on campus summer credit, pre-college programs, Academic year Young Scholars Program, non-credit academies, and Penn Summer Prep programs. The position manages all aspects of operations for these programs: planning and scheduling the program events; arranging for access to University services and facilities for students; implementing systems to communicate program information to prospective and current students; advising; and performing other activities as relevant. In preparation for the summer session, the coordinator will help create an instructional budget for the summer high school program and assist with the summer sessions budget. In collaboration with the Administrative Director, the Director of the Undergraduate Programs, and the Enrollment Management staff, the coordinator utilizes existing Penn systems, and provides logistics to support strategic recruitment (national and international), prospect management activities, and admissions for the programs. S/he also maintains strong external partnerships and initiates development of collaborative relationships, especially among the Conference Services staff. In collaboration with the LPS Marketing staff, s/he administers systems and resources to deliver program information to prospective and current students, particularly through websites, web portals, documents, manuals, special events and workshops. To ensure that LPS Programs adhere to the highest standards of excellence, the coordinator implements routine program evaluation and assessment of LPS High School programs using existing Penn systems. The coordinator reports directly to the Administrative Director of Summer High School programs, and works closely with the Director of Undergraduate Programs and other members of staff in the LPS academic programs, enrollment services, recruitment and admissions, as well as with other offices and departments in the University.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidates will have experience in academic administration in a University setting or equivalent, in positions of increasing responsibility, a proven record implementing and delivering successful, rigorous education programs as measured by multiple criteria (academic excellence, student success and satisfaction, enrollment and revenue growth). Outstanding oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to interact with high school students, and work successfully as part of a team, goal oriented. Able to work some evenings and weekends.
