Job description

Duties: The position requires a Ph.D. degree in immunology, microbiology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related field. The studies will emphasize epigenetic changes caused by diabetic conditions and transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Experience with epigenetic studies or protein purification and mass-spec analysis is preferred. Expertise in basic and advanced molecular biology techniques is required. Practical experience in advanced molecular techniques and in vivo studies would be helpful. Excellent writing and communication and organizational skills are essential. A strong publication record will be viewed positively.

Qualifications: Highly advanced professional discipline. Ph. D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree is required. Five to seven years of post-doctoral experience required.
