Assistant Professor of Practice in Voice, Movement, and Acting, Theatre Department – 603510

The Northern Arizona University’s Theatre Department is seeking a full-time, benefit eligible, non-tenure eligible, faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice, and invites you to become a part of a vibrant thriving theatre program in the majestic mountains of Arizona. To complement and build on our mission, we seek an inspired Assistant Professor in voice, movement and acting for a nine-month appointment (August 2018 – May 2019) and rotate through theatre core courses and Liberal Studies courses as well as related courses as determined by the chair. This position will also serve as the department voice and movement specialist for mainstage productions.

Minimum Qualifications: MFA oar PhD in performance, a minimum of three years teaching experience, or two years teaching experience and professional experience in theatre performance.  

Annual Salary: $46,000
