The Teacher Education Department at Defiance College invites applications and nominations for a full-time, tenure-track K-12 Science/STEM faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include a 24-credit per year teaching load. This position also supervision of teacher candidates, academic advising, committee work, and service to the college.

The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in K-12 Science or STEM Education and science teaching experience in the K-12 environment or higher education setting. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong teaching record, experience supervising teacher candidates, and a demonstrated commitment to expanding STEM education.
