Department: Biomedical Informatics

Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Campus: Health Sciences Center

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Informatics; or an M.D. degree with a fellowship or Masters in Biomedical Informatics; or a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ora related field with research experience in biomedical informatics. To be considered at the Associate Professor/Professor level, candidates must have active funded research programs in their areas of expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Research experience in clinical informatics and translational informatics targeted at cancer research.Strong record of interdisciplinary collaborative research with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead team science efforts.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Candidates are expected to maintain competitive extramurally funded research programs and to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Special Notes:
This is a tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
