Duties: The Wharton Operations Scheduling Coordinator's primary job function is to schedule rooms for academic, administrative, and student related events at the school. In addition, the coordinator is responsible for scheduling career recruiting efforts, and to assist with special event scheduling within the Wharton Complex. The Scheduling Coordinator must be able to communicate accurate and timely information to Wharton clients (staff, faculty and students) as well as the University Registrar's office during the scheduling process. The Scheduling coordinator is responsible for generating reports and compiling historical data to assist the AD of Scheduling Services with analysis of activity complex wide as well as forecasting trends and changes in the academic schedule. In addition the Scheduling Coordinator will provide support to the Special Events Manager and the Senior Scheduling Coordinator to ensure that all events held in the Wharton Complex are scheduled accurately and adhere to School and University policies. Position employment to end on March 2, 2019.
Qualifications: High School diploma and 5 years of administrative experience; Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to work in a computerized environment utilizing multiple programs; strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail; maturity and discretion; ability to multitask and think clearly in a fast paced environment. This position must coordinate paid time off (PTO) around academic calendar milestones.
