Duties: Manages multiple projects and competing priorities to plan and manage the effective use of time and leverage opportunities to aid in the fulfillment of priorities while maintaining professional relationships. Serves as liaison with all internal and external constituents; coordinates planning and communications; utilizes sound judgment and discretion to ensure effective follow-up. Researches, summarizes and evaluates relevant issues and presentation materials. Manages publication and editorial review activities. Manages a broad range of international and national level activities. Coordinates calendar, meeting and event preparation and travel plans as well as the coordination of academic courses.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience working at the executive level required; Masters degree preferred. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills needed. Strong oral and written communication skills essentials. The successful candidate will possess exceptionally sound judgment, be highly organized, and have both a results orientation and a service orientation. Strong skills in MS Office needed as well as knowledge of Apple programs including Keynote, pages and Imovies.. Must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with competing deadlines and multiple priorities. The position requires initiative, the capacity to exercise discretion in working with highly confidential matters and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Penn policies and procedures desired.
