Position Summary: This position is critical to the operation of the Lamar Dodd School of Art. The academic advisor II is responsible for advising between 300 and 600 students every semester and assists area chairs with advising issues.

Responsibilities: Responsible for advising between 300 and 600 students every semester and assists area chairs with advising issues. This person is also responsible for key components of the summer orientation program, the academic advisor II deals individually with all transfer students beginning their BFA at UGA and assists Franklin College advisors with freshmen orientation.

Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment and three years of administrative and appropriate program experience; OR five years of progressively responsible work in this area; OR any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
