Position Summary:

Responsibilities: - Receives analytical reports from lab analysts, formats reports for Technical Director, makes any necessary revisions and transmits electronically to clients. Originates and maintains all report files, both in hard copy and electronic form. - Records incoming samples and prepares appropriate folders with paperwork for processing by lab personnel. - Manage lab personnel in the proper documentation of all analytical reports. - Supervise the lab personnel on reporting of all lab expenses and reagents. - Coordinates weekly lab and publication progress meetings. - Maintains Access and Excel databases for all service work and investigators. - Maintains weekly and monthly progress and income charts for Technical Director. - Initiates travel authorities and travel reimbursements for Technical Director and lab personnel. - Coordinates the development of new departmental web page. - Designs, prints and distributes advertisement flyers for departmental services and training. - Completes necessary updates to Technical Director's CV, including publications and collaborations. - Supervises graduate assistant and part-time administrative assistant who help with maintaining analytical service reports (i.e. filing) and updating service databases

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible office experience OR Associate's Degree and one year of responsible office experience may be required.
