Job Description:

The Department of Business is soliciting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Practice position in Management. This position has advising responsibilities and standard course loads of four courses per semester. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, professional activities, and a willingness to be active in service to the department and university.

We seek an outstanding teacher and program builder to contribute to Wittenberg's established Business majors and programs.  We seek expertise in any of the following areas:  strategic management, operations management, leadership, business ethics, business analytics, business statistics. The successful candidate will join a strong team of faculty committed to delivering a transformative undergraduate experience for our students.     


Evidence of solid teaching capability is required, with a strong preference for a candidate with a track record of outstanding teaching.  The successful candidate will have significant experience in management and a proven ability to bring that experience into the classroom. 

Other requirements include an enthusiastic commitment to working with student teams on diverse applied business projects and the ability to expand relationships between the department/university and the broader community.  Specifically, we are looking for an individual to build upon our already solid relationships with employers and graduate schools that result in internships and post-graduate opportunities for our students.

Minimum qualifications include a graduate degree in business or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated aptitude for teaching undergraduate students.
