Position Summary: RESEARCH INSTRUCTOR. The Division of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medicine, and the Center for Aging and Health is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time faculty position. Responsibilities include assistance on Geriatric Workforce Enhancement grant, clinical care for older adults, support of the inter-professional fellowship program for multi-disciplinary training in the care of the elderly, and practice site evaluations related to the Carolina Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program collaborative agreement.

Education Requirements: M.S.N. degree from a Nurse Practitioner program or D.N.P. required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing, completion of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the North Carolina Joint Subcommittee of the Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners, and "approved to practice medical acts" by the Joint Subcommittee.

Qualification and Experience: Experience with inter-professional education as well as training in adult gerontology preferred.
