Assistant/Associate Professor

Date Initial Screening Begins:

Minimum Education/Experience: A doctoral degree in Kinesiology or closely related field (including but not limited to: Exercise and Sport Science, Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Applied Physiology, Rehabilitation Science, Public Health or Biochemistry). Candidates with Ph.D. conferred at the time of initial appointment will hold the probationary rank of Assistant Professor. ABD candidates will also be initially appointed with the probationary term rank of Assistant Professor and must have the terminal degree conferred prior to your first reappointment.

Job Duties: The successful candidate is expected to: teach in the area of their expertise and to develop/further enhance a nationally recognized research program evident by a strong record of impactful publications and external funding. Will compliment current department research strengths in areas such as biomechanics and motor control, cellular and molecular physiology, exercise physiology and behavioral science, and nutritional exercise physiology. Additional responsibilities include providing service to the university, community, and profession along with directing doctoral and master's thesis research projects.
