Duties: Penn Engineering is expanding its online presence and looking for a Course Manager to work with the Penn Engineering Online Learning team to manage all aspect of video production and assist with the course build process. This role is responsible for working with faculty members, teaching assistants, Online Learning staff and external vendors (eg. videographers, graphic designers) to oversee the filming and editing of all online course content. Additionally, the course manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all course assets, working with the online learning staff to build and deploy new courses, participating in the course revision process, and staying abreast of new developments in the larger online learning community. Position reports to the Director, Online Learning and Analytics.
The Course Manager position is a 1-year term position.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience working directly with higher education faculty to develop online courses, managing complex schedules and video and audio production is preferred.
