SUPV CLIN RESEARCH COORD
Duties: The candidate for a Clinical Research Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the staff and coordination of trials. He/She will have a proven track record of strong leadership skills and knowledge of clinical research. The candidate will have the skill set to oversee and manage multiple clinical trials from start-up to completion. The position requires the candidate to be a resource to junior staff and to be able to educate staff, employees of the health system, patients and families of the trial, treatment and requirements of the trial. The candidate will be a liaison for the research team with the sponsors and other outside entities. The candidate will review proposed trials to identify any challenges or opportunities which are anticipated. The candidate will have strong problem-solving capability and be able to implement change or a plan if applicable. The candidate will process a strong knowledge of good clinical practices, regulatory guidance and compliance. He/she understands the importance of inspection readiness and will oversee preparation for any audits or inspections of trials managed. The candidate will participate in weekly senior management meetings giving up dates of trial status. The candidate must process excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong organization skills.
Position contingent upon funding.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Previous experience in a clinical setting required; medical device and terminology required. Clinical research experience preferred. The candidate must have strong communication both oral and written as well as presentation skills. The candidate must be able to keep accurate and well maintained documents. The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team and prioritize tasks as necessary. The candidate must be adaptable and be able to work with various personalities.
