Job description

Duties: This full time staff member will support the clinical research program at the Basser Center for BRCA. S/he will be responsible for enrolling participants to two genetics-related research protocols. The research assistant will be responsible for coordinating the survey data collection, handling participant recruitment and follow up, and basic data entry. In addition, the research assistant will assist in subject follow-up via phone and mail, clinic-based patient recruitment, and administrative support. The research assistant will assist in other tasks related to the project including coordination of and preparation for study meetings. This individual must be organized and able to prioritize.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. BA/BS preferred . Research or hospital administrative experience preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite required
