ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, UNDERGRADUATE AID
Duties: Under supervision of the Assoc Director of Undergraduate Aid, provides administrative support for the processing of financial aid and counseling services for all students. Manages 6 Sr Financial Aid Counselors. Formulates and reviews financial aid award packages using established federal, state and/or university policies. Determines and approves financial aid eligibility using latest online technology and is responsible for complete accounts of financial aid records.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of Financial Aid experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Working knowledge of the following financial aid systems preferred: Banner, COD, NSLDS and PHEAA. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects. Must possess excellent customer service,problem solving and communication skills. Experience in managing both federal and institutional methodology is a plus.
