Job Description:

Wittenberg University is accepting applications for a full-time, visiting faculty position in our Mathematics and Computer Science Department, to begin August 2018. The appointment will be for one year, but with possible renewal for up to three years.  The successful candidate is expected to join the department faculty in teaching the full range of undergraduate computer science courses and supporting our programs in computer science, cybersecurity, data science and information systems.


A Ph.D. in computer science is preferred, and ABD candidates who are close to completion will be considered.  A doctorate in a related field or a Master's degree in computer science may be considered.  Some college-level teaching or TA experience is essential.   Candidates should have a strong commitment primarily to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting.  Ability to teach computer organization is not essential but is considered a plus.
