Minimum Education/Experience: A PhD in physics or an equivalent degree and at least one year of relevant postdoctoral research experience are required. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of assistant professor; however, exceptionally qualified candidates with active funding may be considered for appointment at a higher academic rank.

Job Duties: The Department of Physics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning 13 August 2018. We seek candidates to establish a vigorous, independent and externally funded research program in biomedical physics. The successful applicant will teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and service to the university, community, and profession is expected. Candidates whose research complements existing research programs in the Department are encouraged to apply.
