Minimum Education/Experience: PhD in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. ABD candidates must provide documented evidence of dissertation defense and completion of study prior to hire. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.

Job Duties: The Department of Construction Management at East Carolina University invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for a fall hire beginning August 2018. Candidates with established, externally funded, independent research programs and a proven track record of success in teaching, research, and service may be considered for appointment at the Associate Professor level. Candidates with significant scholarly background may be eligible for supplemental funding through the Gregory Poole Endowed Professorship. Duties include teach undergraduate and graduate courses in construction management. Conduct research and seek external funding and provide service to the university, profession and department. Participate in program assessment and strategic planning, mentor undergraduate and graduate students, and perform other duties as assigned.
