Minimum Education/Experience: MFA is required. A minimum of three years, full-time, university teaching and directing is also required.

Job Duties: East Carolina University School of Theatre and Dance seeks an experienced, collaborative faculty member for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Directing to begin August, 2018. Responsibilities will include teaching a two-course progression in Directing; directing on the main stage; and teaching additional courses within the candidate's area of expertise (possibly including Beginning and Advanced levels of Acting, Acting for the Camera, Professional Preparation, and/or Theatre Appreciation). The ECU School of Theatre and Dance is a dedicated undergraduate BFA program with an emphasis on professional preparation.
