Job Duties: The School of Communication at East Carolina University seeks a Health Communication teacher/scholar. Successful candidates will be able to teach in one or more of the following areas: Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, and/or other areas of expertise within the field of communication. Tenure track faculty members are expected to conduct research and provide service to the university and profession in addition to teaching duties. Teaching duties will include face to face and/or online delivery of instruction both at the undergraduate and graduate level. The School of Communication serves almost 50 master's/certificate students in Health Communication, and 1,000 undergraduate students in four concentrations: Interpersonal/Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, and Journalism.
