Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of networking related experience such as network design, analysis or network management; or Associate's degree in Electronics or Networking Technology and one year of networking related experience: or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Duties: This position will support police and security-based systems to include network-based security cameras, computer-aided dispatch, communications systems, network based security cameras, network attached video servers, IP addressable alarm/panic systems, and body and in-car camera systems as well as all associated subsystems. Audits and advises departments concerning actions necessary to prevent or abate health, safety, environmental and emergency preparedness deficiencies and maintain compliance with applicable local, state and federal occupational health and safety regulations.
