Posting Information: Western Carolina University's School of Stage and Screen seeks an Assistant Professor of Film and Television Production. This is a 9 month tenure track position. Primary duties include teaching camera, lighting, and editing courses, as well as advising student filmmakers in pre-production, production, and post-production processes.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: MFA in Film Production or related field. Three years teaching experience minimum. Three to Five years professional experience in camera operating, lighting, and editing (including VFX).

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced ability to teach Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Audition post-production software. Five years experience in film production. Experience with production and post-production sound a plus.
