Job Summary Job location: 2360 RAINWATER ROAD, Tifton, Tift, Georgia (31793) Job description: Job description: Conduct research experiments, and coordinate and participate in extension and outreach trainings, workshops, field days, on farm research and visits, and similar activities related to precision Agriculture and machinery systems. Duties include maintenance and operation of laboratory and field equipment, field preparation, planting and general agronomic production operations. Equipment calibration, data collection and analysis, report compilation and writing of extension and research documents, and assistance in developing grant proposals are also required. Minimum requirements: ? Master's degree, in Agriculture or Biosystems Engineering, or related field. ? work experience-24 months minimum in research extension ? special skills- Work experience should be in Research / Extension work in precision agriculture and machinery systems. Knowledge of AgGIS (AgLeader SMS, Farmworks); production ag practices and management of GA ag production and precision ag technologies.
