Position Summary: The Graduate Program Director (GPD) devotes time to all aspects of the Operative Dentistry program through programmatic administrative time, participation with the Advanced Dental Education interdisciplinary core courses, active participation in the Advanced Dental Education Program Director's committee and other related service activities, direct observation and mentoring of residents, review of resident and faculty evaluations, and clinic quality assurance activities. Additionally, the GPD plays a key role in growing the program, enhancing program visibility, communicating with prospective graduate students, and coordinating, with help from the administration staff, the application, interview, and selection process for new graduate students.

Education Requirements: A DDS or DMD or equivalent degree; a certificate and/or MS degree from an operative dentistry program is preferred.

Qualification and Experience: Previous teaching and research experience is required.
