Job Summary The Assistant Director Administrative will serve as the leader for Academic Affairs and will be an effective member of the Griffin Campus Team. They will develop and maintain a vision for academic enrollment and program growth on campus. This position will directly supervise the Campus Recruiter and will share responsibility (with the Assistant Director of Student Affairs) for directing the Student One Stop. This includes jointly overseeing an Administrative Associate II position as well as multiple student workers. The person will become an integral part of the campus leadership team. The position will supervise and facilitate recruiting activities for the campus and will support faculty as well as program coordinators in each of the five colleges offering degrees on campus. The person must possess the ability to work extremely effectively both independently and with other campus/university team members and groups. The Assistant Director of Academic Affairs will serve as the liaison between the Griffin Campus and university's Undergraduate Admissions office as well as the Graduate School, and will also serve as a primary contact between the community and the campus for all things related to academic instruction. This position reports to the Assistant Provost and Griffin Campus Director (85%) and to the Athens Campus Office of Undergraduate Admissions (15%). Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
