Posting Summary:
The Marketing Group at the Darden School of Business at University of Virginia is seeking an outstanding researcher for a Post-Doctoral Research position preferably starting in the summer of 2018.

Marketing post-doc will facilitate and support interdisciplinary behavioral research across Darden by working with faculty, and conducting interesting and impactful research in behavioral science (e.g., consumer behavior, behavioral economics, judgment and decision making). We are looking for candidates interested in contributing to both theory and practice.

In addition to conducting and publishing independent research, the Post-doctoral associate will:

Assist in planning and carrying out web-based surveys, lab research, and field studies, and analyzing responses

Employ a combination of approaches, from the identification and analysis of existing real-world data sets arising as the result of natural experiments, to the design and analysis of field or lab intervention studies that collect process and outcome measures related to consumer behavior and decision making in various domains.

Contribute to other ongoing projects in the marketing group and provide research assistance for faculty

Provide methodological guidance for faculty and scholars

Mentor doctoral students

Candidates should have a PhD or near completion with expertise in behavioral research and marketing
