Job description

Duties: The Clerk is a key component in the support of the Restorative clinics at Penn Dental Medicine. The Clerk is responsible for the dispensing, collecting, and conducting an inventory of dental instruments, equipment, and consumable supplies utilized in the Restorative clinics for the treatment of patients, both real and simulated as well as for the education of student doctors. The Clerk will need to identify defects and send small equipment out for repairs, sterilize electric hand-pieces, keep accurate inventory of dental supplies. Clerk must be able to work evening clinic Monday- Wednesday from 5pm-9pm on a rotating schedule. Mandatory overtime one weekend in October for licensing exam and again in March. Clerks are tasked with creating exceptional experiences for our faculty and staff by providing a high level of customer service, helping Penn Dental Medicine 'Shape the Future of Care'.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
