Position Summary: Maintainer I - Floater (Full-time, AFSCME position) TOUR OF DUTY: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday,10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (Fridays and Saturdays as days off). (Subject to Change) Location: BSU Campus Wide Floater This is an essential position. This is an AFSCME unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.
Essential Duties: All aspects of cleaning and general building maintenance. Clean campus property, empty wastebaskets, move and set up furniture, sweep walkways, vacuum, wash floors, move material and perform a variety of related indoor/outdoor general maintenance tasks including snow removal. Perform periodic large scale project cleaning duties or maintenance projects. Subject to change according to institutional needs. Applicants must be able to demonstrate employment eligibility in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
Required Qualifications: Ability to follow instructions; willingness and ability to lift and carry heavy objects; willingness and ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to deal tactfully with students, faculty and staff; physical stamina; ability to learn proper cleaning methods and ability to shovel snow.

Salary Range: $1,255.56 bi-weekly (Grade 9 - Step 1)
