Auditorium Theatre Ticket Sales Representative
Job Summary: The Ticket Sales Representative processes individual, subscription, and group ticket orders, delivers excellent customer service to Auditorium Theatre patrons. They also assist with promoting the performances and converting individual ticket buyers into subscribers and/or group patrons. The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, located at 50 E. Congress Pkwy, is an Illinois, not-for-profit organization committed to presenting the finest in international, cultural, community and educational programming to Chicago, and to the continued restoration and preservation of the National Historic Landmark Auditorium Theatre. Job Type: Part-Time
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: At least 1 year of sales/customer experience. Excellent customer service skills required; must have a positive attitude in a high energy environment. Must be willing to assist with promoting performances which includes making outbound phone calls. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail required. Expert computer skills required in Microsoft Office. Analytical skills to identify and exploit selling opportunities. Other projects assigned as necessary. Must be available on most weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications: Ticketing or hospitality industry preferred, with at least 1 year of customer service experience.
