Essential Job Duties: The Institute for Advanced Analytics is accepting applications for part-time non-tenure-track faculty appointments for a one-semester or one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. Positions encompass the following, with rank to be determined based upon education and professional experience: Lecturer, Assistant Professor of the Practice, Associate Professor of the Practice, and Professor of the Practice. Specific teaching opportunities include one or more modules in the MS in Analytics interdisciplinary curriculum, including: data mining, machine learning, text mining, logistic regression, simulation, optimization, time series and forecasting, customer analytics, survival analysis, advanced modeling, design of experiments, financial analytics, risk analytics, web analytics, data privacy and ethics, and special topics.

Minimum Education/Experience: Terminal degree in a field relevant to the specific area of instruction with professional practice in that related field OR MS in Analytics/Data Science or comparable professional degree with 3 or more years of professional accomplishment in that field

Department Required Skills: * Excellent communication skills * Experience developing and delivering classroom training and/or workshops * Strong presentation skills * Ability to work collaboratively with Institute faculty and staff in course design and delivery. * Enthusiasm for working in a data-driven, high performing organization * Demonstrated personal commitment to the values of education and strong motivation to attain the highest levels of excellence in student learning outcomes

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: * Earned doctorate degree (or equivalent) in relevant field. * Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, and teach graduate level courses. * Programming experience in SAS, R, or Python strongly preferred. * Record of successful college/university teaching experience.
