Duties: Penn's Human Capital Management (HCM) Transformation Initiative is an exciting University-wide effort to take our people related processes and systems to a new level using modern integrated technology and smart work processes. This transformation will include payroll, benefits, compensation, time and attendance, recruitment and onboarding in the first wave with more to follow. HCM will increase efficiencies and transform how we work in order to optimize effective solutions, minimize tedious repetition and increase talent opportunity and mobility within Penn.

We are seeking an accomplished Communications professional to join our Organization Change Management (OCM) team in a full-time capacity as the Communications Lead. Develop, refine and execute a dynamic communications strategy to inform and engage the Penn community about the University wide HCM Transformation Initiative. Develop and execute a robust, comprehensive communications plan using multiple channels for various audiences; includes branding content, newsletters, web and social media and cultivation of high quality writing materials on tight deadlines. Develop key presentations and talking points for sponsors and leaders to ensure consistent and accurate messaging; review and edit team documents and presentations for external presentation as requested. Evaluate results and course correct as needed. Actively participate as a member of the HCM team to ensure effective communication, collaboration and responsiveness.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Communications or English and 5 years to 7 years of communications experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong planning and cultivation of strategic messaging for various audiences with the ability to work well with stakeholders on all levels. Prior exp. developing detailed work plans helpful. Excellent writing and editing skills both in print and online; web and social media experience needed. The successful candidate is highly organized, results oriented, delivers quality writing quickly and is able to demonstrate professionalism working on a fast-paced focused team. Writing samples requested. Prior knowledge or exp. with change management processes desired. Solid PC related skills including MS Office Suite and web content development tools. Position is full-time for the duration of the project; estimated at two years.
