RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL II
Job Summary This position will provide technical and field support for the research program of Dr. O.E. Rhodes, Jr. Field work involving capture, sample collection, and tracking of wildlife, fish, plants, insects and environmental samples are integral components of this position. In addition, use of analytical methods for quantification of metals and radionuclides will be expected. The successful applicant also will be expected to assist with logistics of the NSF-funded REU program in radioecology at SREL. Analysis of data and writing for preparation of manuscripts, technical reports, and funding proposals are also components of this position. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree and no experience or equivalent combination of Bachelor's degree plus experience and skills required. Area-specific certification and/or training may be required and other training will be provided as appropriate.
