ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR II
Job Summary This is a front-line marketing, operations, recruitment, and events management position in a highly collaborative department supporting the enrollment objectives of one unit, the Full-Time MBA Admissions Office. The MBA Admissions Counselor II performs a crucial role as a first point of contact for prospective Full-Time MBA students, shaping their impression of the Terry College of Business, and will assist the Director and Associate Director with the recruitment of students for the Full-Time MBA program. This employee is expected to have an in-depth understanding of our MBA programs, other graduate programs offered by the Terry College of Business, and the offerings of our peer, aspirant, and competitor MBA programs. The person in this role is expected to: display strong interpersonal and communication skills; be proficient with and adept at learning new technologies and applications; and pay close attention to details, especially as related to admissions decisions, application processing, and the handling and storage of confidential information. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, education, student personnel, or a related area; and considerable experience related to this class of work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
