Position Summary: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (TENURE TRACK) - GERIATRICS. The Division of Geriatric Medicine and the Center for Aging and Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This broad-based recruitment seeks an outstanding junior scientist in age related diseases such as the field of epidemiology particularly as related to cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease in older adults. Applicants should have a doctoral degree and a strong record of recent accomplishments as a postdoctoral fellow or sustained productivity as an established faculty member. Expertise in research fields related to diseases affecting older adults highly desirable. Current research grant funding is required.
