The University of Florida invites applications for two tenure-track appointments in Creative Writing (Fiction) at the rank of assistant professor, effective August 16, 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to 1) maintain an active writing career, 2) apply for extramural grants and fellowships, 3) teach four courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level, 4) provide service to the department, the university, and the profession.
Applicants are expected to have an MFA and/or PhD in Creative Writing and a primary specialization in fiction. Candidates must hold the graduate degree by the starting date and must have published at least one novel or collection of stories.
