Job Description:

The Department of Economics and Department of Business at Wittenberg University invite applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position.  We seek candidates prepared to teach intermediate microeconomic theory and managerial economics and we will give a preference to applicants who can contribute to the Wittenberg Business program.  The Economics Department offers majors in Economics and Financial Economics.  The Business Department offers majors in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.  A dedication to excellent undergraduate teaching and advising is required.  We promote undergraduate student research.  Beyond microeconomics, a variety of specializations would be valuable, including public finance, game theory, international trade theory, statistics, finance, marketing, and behavioral economics.  The teaching load is six courses per year.  Successful applicants must be able to contribute to the general education program and the first-year seminar.  A commitment to university and community service is expected. 


A Ph.D. in Economics is preferred; ABD considered.
