Job Description: Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of English, seeks a qualified candidates for a newly authorized positions as Lecturer of Writing and Core Literature, beginning Academic Year 2017-18. The initial appointment will be for three years, with possible renewal. The department serves the university's undergraduate core curriculum and offers undergraduate majors and minors in English and Literature. The department is among the largest in LUC's College of Arts and Sciences and teaches 3,000 students in roughly 200 sections each term on the Lake Shore Campus, Water Tower Campus, and the John Felice Rome Center. This is a full-time lecturer-track position that consists of teaching core courses both in literature and writing
