Duties: The Economics Department, located in the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts and Sciences, is ranked among the top ten in the U.S. Its faculty, productive and research-oriented, is committed to the advancement of economic science.

The Undergraduate Coordinator provides coordination and high level administrative support for the Undergraduate Chair, Associate Director of Transfer/Abroad credit, and Economics Course Heads. Act as major/program advisor, and as liaison between undergraduates and the Department. Accept/deny new majors and enter information in the Student Record System (SRS) and through the Penn In Touch Advisor System. Set up all courses for upcoming semesters in the University Student Record System (SRS).

Qualifications: A high school diploma and 5-7 years of experience is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Experience providing administrative support in an academic environment required. Ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, strong written and oral communications skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must have a professional demeanor with the ability to provide excellent customer service to a diverse audience. Must be a team player and have excellent collaboration skills.

Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of scholarly resources across the University that are available for both students and department faculty. Financial experience and an understanding of academic and curriculum planning are preferred. Familiarity with Penn's financial application strongly encouraged.
